The snorkel worked fine. The float kept water out in choppy waves. FYI, it's designed to be used on the left side. Built-in whistle is a nice plus. Bright green tube made it easy for my partner to spot me.
The products themselves are great but they didn't arrive with 1day shipping which I paid $60 for and I sent a message to the company hoping for a refund on shipping as it took 3 or days days not 24 hours... and I never heard back from the company. At least a response would be nice, if not a refund on $60 shipping that didn't work out.
Perfect snorkle. Had no water enter my snorkle, even when water was a bit choppy. Bite is comfortable- not too wide/tiring for my jaw to hold. Highly recommend.

Since I live in a northern (that's snowy) climate, I took the dry snorkel to the pool to try out. I'm fairly new to snorkeling and I never tried to go below the surface of the water with a snorkel before.
I was joyously surprise at how well the dry snorkel worked in the pool. Absolutely no water in the tube and I re-surfaced and was able to breath through the tube normally. It takes a bit of effort to stay submerged, but if I saw something in the Galapagos that I wanted to get a little deeper to see this will help me do that. So PLEASED!!
